Smart Penalty System for Wrong Answers

What happens when you get an answer wrong? Our intelligent penalty system doesn't just move you back one stage. Instead, it uses a sophisticated formula that considers both your current level and how many times you've answered incorrectly:

The penalty factor is more forgiving in early stages (×1) but becomes stricter in advanced stages (×2), ensuring that words you should know well get the attention they need.

Mnemonic Integration

Our answer validation system is incredibly sophisticated, handling:

• Words with different variations like the grammar particle ~이/가 automatically
• Parenthetical content: "no (polite)" accepts "no", "no polite", and "no (polite)"
• Verb forms: "to be difficult" accepts both "difficult" and "to be difficult"
• Spelling tolerance using Damerau-Levenshtein distance for typos

Meaningful Progress Tracking

• Number of vocabulary items learned

Each SRS stage contributes different points:

• Burned words: 30 points each
• Master level: 15 points each

• Novice levels: 10-15 points each
